Get in touch with your instructor through the messaging system in Canvas. Keep in mind that your English instructor is not responsible for LR010 course material. Any Solano librarian can help you with questions about lectures, assignments, or other coursework but contact your LR010 instructor directly for issues with grades.

ONLINE CHAT

Use the "Ask Your Librarian" box on any of our webpages (there's one below).  A librarian is available 24/7; SCC librarians are scheduled for specific hours throughout the week.  If you don't get the help you need via the chat box, please email scclibrary@solano.edu so one of the SCC librarians can follow up and help.

ZOOM APPOINTMENTS

LR10 librarians are available to zoom with you if you need.  Please email scclibrary@solano.edu or call 707-864-4519 (voicemail) to set up a zoom appointment.

Beginning January 17, 2023, Librarian Chat is available 24/7; you may get assistance from a librarian at a different school & a SCC librarian may follow up via email.

Outside of the above hours, e-ref chat is available and will be staffed by non-Solano College librarians.  If your question requires a Solano College librarian, please email scclibrary@solano.edu and one of us will respond within 24 hours.
When the chat session ends, you can request that a transcript of the chat be emailed to you.
