On this page, you will find some recommendations to help you get started in the amazingly diverse world of poetry.  There are some general collections that include multiple poets.  There are collections of works for specific poets.  These are writers which you may find interesting and compelling.  The suggestions are like a sample platter..  There are many more fabulous poets included in our collection than those listed below.  So, if you find yourself craving more, ask a librarian for more recommendations, and we'll be happy to help you satisfy your appetite for poetry.
